During baseball season, Target Field fills with thousands of fans who come to cheer on the Minnesota Twins. Found in the Warehouse District of downtown Minneapolis, the stadium is just a short drive from Valley Creek Luxury Living Apartments. The ballpark has welcomed visitors since 2010, and it offers much to see and do before, during, and after the game. Highlights include:
Bat & Barrel
Bat & Barrel offers a new game-day social experience featuring unique sights. The operable glass windows allow guests to watch the action on the field while enjoying a delicious meal or sipping an ice-cold beer. The walls are decorated with artwork made by local artists. Also, Bat & Barrel displays the Twins 1987 and 1991 World Series trophies.
Budweiser Roof Deck
Known as the ultimate Minnesota Twins outdoor experience, the Budweiser Roof Deck features picturesque views of downtown Minneapolis. It comes complete with a partial roof canopy, delicious concessions, and a fire pit to warm guests on chilly evenings. Individual tickets may be purchased for Thursday home games. But they sell quickly, so it’s important to get them early.
The fascinating 90-minute stadium tours offer access to areas not normally seen by the public. The friendly guide will discuss the Twins history while leading everyone to places such as the dugout, clubhouse, and the Herb Carneal Press Box. The tours are offered on both game and non-game days.
For added fun, attend a game on a theme night. Those upcoming this summer include Wine, Women & Baseball, Star Wars, and Mustang Day.
