As the summer winds down and the cool, fall air makes its way through Minnesota, there will be several outdoor festivals in the greater St. Paul area. Here are the top five fairs and festivals near Woodbury taking place over the next month. They’re all an easy drive from our Valley Creek Apartments, and a great way to spend a day.
Irish Fair of Minnesota
On August 10th, head to St. Paul’s 39th annual Irish Fair of Minnesota from 3 PM to 11 PM on Harriet Island. Admission is completely free, and visitors will be met with live music by We Banjo 3, Gaelic Storm, and more, as well as dancing, food, and drinks.
From 11 AM to 9 PM on August 18th, you can visit the State Capitol Grounds to “experience India in a day.” Admission to India Fest is free and there will be eight Indian restaurants, two Indian classical dance groups, art and culture exhibits, such as henna, cricket, yoga, and more.
CLUES Fiesta Latina
Also on August 18th, CLUES St. Paul will be hosting a Latin festival to celebrate Latino art and culture. Activities include food, music, dancing, art, crafts, free health exams, raffles, prizes, and more. You can stop by from 11 AM to 4 PM.
