Shop ‘Til You Drop at the Mall of America

Just eighteen minutes from Valley Creek Apartments is one of the country’s most visited tourist destinations. It’s called the Mall of America and it features more than five hundred stores, fifty restaurants, and a variety of attractions. Built in 1992, the mall is known as the “Hollywood of the Midwest” and has been featured on cable networks such as the Discovery Channel and Travel Channel. Places visitors don’t want to miss include:

Ben Bridge Jewelers – Since 1912, Ben Bridge Jewelers have helped customers celebrate their most special moments. The website states that the owners take pride in offering exceptional service and employing more registered jewelers and certified gemologists than any other jeweler in the United States. Products include Pandora charms, watches, and bracelets.

Doc Popcorn – Those who enjoy munching on popcorn while watching sports or a movie should pick up a bag or two of this crunchy treat at Doc Popcorn. The store got its start in the Manhattan apartment of Rich and Renee who began blending and popping their own delicious, naturally flavored kettle-cooked popcorn. Flavors include Apple Crisp, French Toast, and Sinfully Cinnamon.

Cadillac Ranch – Spanning nearly eleven thousand square feet, Cadillac Ranch is the premier all-American bar and grill. It combines great food and service with an entertaining experience. It features several flat screen televisions, a state-of-the-art sound system, and a mechanical bull that allows guests eighteen and older to see if they can outlast their friends. Chefs prepare the meals from scratch and choices include lemon mushroom chicken, candied pecan pork chops, and blackened walleye.

Sea Life Minnesota Aquarium – Sea Life welcomes visitors of all ages into an exciting underwater world. It’s home to numerous marine species and exhibits include “Ray Lagoon,” “Sturgeon Lake” and “Shark Cove.”
