If you’re looking to spend a lively evening with friends, head to The Dubliner.
Since 1983, it has called the University Midway neighborhood home, and it’s known for serving some of the best tap beers around.
Guests can also enjoy a delicious meal and Irish and American music six nights a week in addition to Irish dance lessons on Wednesday evenings. Let’s take a closer look:
The cooks prepare a limited menu that includes house burgers, Guinness battered cod sandwiches, and Reuben sandwiches.
The Langer’s Ball (September 20) – The Langer’s Ball has been performing since 2007 and was quickly named “A band to watch” by Paddyrock.com. The group is known for its Irish punk rock sound and is currently entertaining audiences with songs from their latest album Whiskey Outlaw.
Sea Shanty Sing (second Monday of every month) – Arrive early for the Sea Shanty Sing as it’s often standing room only. It’s held between 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. and everyone is welcome to belt out the tunes. Every session has a shanty herder who recruits guests to lead the crowd in sea shanties and related songs.
The Northerly Gales (September 24) – The Northerly Gales is a rollicking acoustic folk group that calls the Twin Cities home. Their music draws from American, Canadian, Irish, and Scottish folk traditions, and has the audience tapping their feet and singing along.
The Dubliner Pub is just one of the many restaurants that you can enjoy if you call Valley Creek Apartments home. Please contact our representatives to schedule a tour.Back to all posts
