Bagels are a great way to start off the day.
If you don’t have any to pop in your toaster, stop by one of the following bagel shops where you will find an array of choices such as cinnamon, plain, and sesame:
Established in 1983, Bruegger’s is known for its New York style bagels. Before opening, the owners learned the traditional bagel making methods such as boiling the bagels and then baking them in a real stone hearth oven. It took them more than two years to perfect their recipes, and today there are more than 280 locations across the United States and Canada. The bakers make the first batch of bagels early in the morning, and flavors include Jalapeno Cheddar, Rosemary Olive Oil, and Pumpernickel.
Rise Bagel Co.
Owned by two sisters, Rise is an organic bakery that specializes in old-world artisan bagels made with a modern twist. The shop is located on the first floor of a 1916 building that was once a candy shop owned by Roach Tisdale. Before opening their business, the sisters learned from the best in the industry, and their crispy bagels are chewy on the inside. Flavors include Cheddar Jalapeno, Cinnamon Sugar, and Poppy Seed.
Caribou Coffee and Einstein Bagels
When the best coffee house decided to join forces with the best bagel shop, it resulted in a popular morning destination. It offers a casual environment where guests can enjoy friendly service and meeting friends for breakfast. After munching on a bagel such as Apple Cinnamon, Honey Whole Wheat, and Chocolate Chip, wash it down with a turtle mocha or chi tea latte.
