Escape Rooms are a fun place to go on a date, hang out with friends, or get to know co-workers outside of the office. The best ones are fun, fast-paced, challenging (but not too challenging,) and bring everyone together to have a great time. Here are three of our favorite challenging escape rooms in Minneapolis near our luxury Valley Creek Apartments.
Keep in mind that in most cases, if you do not book a whole room, you’ll most likely have strangers in the room with you. It’s a great way to meet new people and learn to work together. Whether you win or lose, you will have a great time!
The Best Escape Rooms in Minneapolis
There are six different missions to choose from at Escape MSP. Favorites are the underwater-themed “Captain Segal’s Meltdown” and the Egyptian-themed “Raid on Mr. Croft’s Museum.” Each room has a different theme and recommended ability level, so check the website before booking. Rooms are designed for 4-10 people and you will have 1 hour to solve the riddles and puzzles to escape.
Trapped Puzzle Rooms
The St. Paul location of Trapped Puzzle Rooms offers three choices. “Spies vs. Spies” is unique because you can book two rooms and face off against each other. There is also a popular Harry Potter themed room! Finally, “The Heist” challenges you to find out who stole a missing painting.
If you’d prefer to have the experience come to you, book a “CLUE Dun’ It” puzzle party where Trapped Puzzle Rooms sets up, hosts, and breaks down an escape room at your home or office.
The Escape Game
As if you needed another reason to go to the Mall of America, the original Escape Game has opened a location here. It has already been voted by TripAdvisor as the #1 Escape Room in Minneapolis and the #1 Fun and Games Attraction in Minneapolis. The Escape Game has four adventures to choose from including “Mission: Mars” and “Gold Rush,” each with an hour time limit. A maximum of eight people is allowed in each room.
